1. Closing accounts
Please note that only the current account creator has the right to close an account. As you can have several accounts under one Holvi profile, you can close some of the accounts and still keep your Holvi profile active, in case some of the accounts you manage remain active.
In order to close the account, the balance of the account has to be 0€. Therefore, all funds should be transferred another account of your choice before closing the account. Any required accounting reports should be downloaded before the account gets closed.
You cancel the account directly in the subscription settings. To do this, click on the round profile symbol in the top right-hand corner of the browser and select Subscription. Here you will find the option to close the account.
2. Delete account / removed saved data
Please note that payment services legislation requires us to keep account records for five years. Holvi also has built-in bookkeeping features. Accounting legislation requires that accounting documents are held for 6 years and accounting books for 10 years.
If you want us to delete the data we have stored about you, send a request via the DSAR portal (DSA - Data Subject Access Rights). We will then contact you within 30 days. The link can also be found in our privacy policy.
