How do I verify my identity?

 

  • Please do NOT submit us your confidential documents via email because for security reasons we can not accept them
  • Processing the documents you upload may take up to 3 business days but usually happens faster
  • You will also receive an email from Holvi with the results of your identity verification or, if necessary, a request for additional documents
  • Please note that it is NOT possible to do payments out from your Holvi account, sent any invoices or start selling through the online store until your personal identity and business/association information has been successfully verified.

Completing personal identity verification

If you live in Germany, Austria

In order to verify your identity please go to https://holvi.com/home/identity and upload to your Holvi account the following documents:

  • A picture of you and your passport 

    Please upload a clear photo of yourself holding your identity document next to your face, like a selfie, as in the below example. Make sure your face is clearly visible and the information displayed on the identity document is readable. If you or the identification document are cut off or out of frame you will be asked for a new photo.

  • Proof of address - anmeldung or a utility bill scan (no older than three months) with your name and current residing address on it (personal, not business). It can be a phone bill, electricity bill, tax card, insurance bill or any other official document that has the previously mentioned information.

 

  • Passport copy - we need a clear copy of your passport, this can be either a picture or scan. It must be in color and please make sure, that your fingers or something else doesn't cover any of the information. Try as well to avoid the flash of your camera being reflected in the passport when taking a picture.

 

If you live in Finland

In order to verify your identity please go to https://holvi.com/home/identity and verify your identity using your personal bank credentials (TUPAS verification).

If you don't have personal bank credentials or if your bank credentials are not accepted in Holvi please go to https://holvi.com/home/identity and upload to your Holvi account the following documents:

  • A picture of you and your passport 

    Please upload a clear photo of yourself holding your identity document next to your face, like a selfie, as in the below example. Make sure your face is clearly visible and the information displayed on the identity document is readable.
