When opening a new Holvi account you may be requested to provide your Business Identifier if you select the account type as Business or Association.

What is a Business Identifier?

The Business Identifier is a code given to businesses and organisations by the authorities.

Where can I find my Business Identifier?

It can be found on the registry extract provided by the registration authorities.

What is the format of a Business Identifier?

The format consists of the type of register, the individual number, the respective court. It starts with HRA (sole proprietorships, partnerships and unincorporated business associations ) or HRB ( corporations ).

Example: HRB 12345 Leipzig.

What if I am a Sole Trader?

 If you are a sole trader, please provide your Gewerbeanmeldung (GewA1) and the official document where you are given the VAT-ID (USt.-ID).

If you don't have a Gewerbeanmeldung as a sole trader, the document with the VAT-ID is enough.
