Your Online Store
Are you planning an online event, selling e-books or new crafts? Add new services or products to your online store to help drive your sales.
If you are selling tickets for events in the upcoming weeks or months, you may want to consider postponing the event to later on to avoid cancellations of online store payments.
Alternatively, gift cards may be an option to make sure that customers will get back to using your services later.
If you are unable to provide the service sold and you wish to refund your customer, simply create an outbound payment to your customer.
Payment methods during Covid-19
As cash usage may be restricted or should be avoided in many countries, we highly recommend using your Holvi Business Mastercard for your transactions. By using the card linked to your account, you will benefit from contactless payments, also will card payments generate less fees compared to ATM withdrawals. You can find your up-to-date card limits in your Holvi Mobile App in the account settings > payment cards. Please find more information here:
Your Holvi Business Mastercard
Did you book a service with your card that has been cancelled due to the coronavirus? (e.g. flight tickets, hotel bookings, tickets to events, etc.) Please contact the point of purchase to clarify the refund policy of the service.
If you do not attend an event, flight or similar which has not been officially cancelled, it may be more difficult to get a refund. It’s best to get in touch with the merchant to explain the situation. Should you not be able to get a refund, talk to your travel insurance provider if you have one and they will be able to tell you if you can claim a refund.
Payments
Are your VAT payments due? Please ask your local tax office for a possibility to possibly postpone these.
Account management
What to do if you suddenly become sick? In Holvi you can add admins to your account if you need someone to help you out in case you need help with your business, its account and transactions. Find more information here.
Beware of possible scams
Various scams related to the coronavirus are circulating at the moment, as uncertainty and fear caused by the situation are a good moment for criminals to develop scams that appear credible. We advise you to be careful when dealing with potential scams and avoid opening messages in your spam folder. Please do not disclose potentially harmful personal information (such as account information, card details or login information) to anyone.
Please use Holvi’s official channels for support requests if you’d like to get in touch with us.
