For standard bank transfers in euros to another account within SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area), Holvi uses SEPA Credit Transfers (SCT). This is the technical term for what’s widely known as a bank transfer.
How long do bank transfers (SCTs) take?
Domestic and international payments (to other SEPA member states) are processed in the same timeframe. The maximum transaction time within the European Economic Area (EEA) may not exceed 1 banking day.
If an SCT order arrives after Holvi’s cut-off time – that is, our deadline for receiving payment orders – the order will be processed on the next banking day. The execution time for that order – when your money will actually arrive in the recipient’s account – may, as a result, be prolonged by 1 banking day.
You can find detailed information on Holvi’s cut-off times here.
How much do bank transfers cost?
Euro transfers to other SEPA countries will cost the same as domestic transfers. All our plans have a limit of 500 free transfers per month. You can find a detailed breakdown of all our fees in our fee schedules.
Can bank transfers be refunded?
We do everything in our power to make sure your money ends up in its rightful place. Please read this article for full details on how to request a refund for standard bank transfers in euros.
