Holvi offers you easy-to-use business management tools – digital invoicing, bookkeeping preparation and Holvi Business Debit Mastercard. Before you can take advantage of these useful features, there are a few things you must do.
In this section, you will learn how to open and manage your account and how to verify your identity and business.
First steps:
Opening the account
We currently offer our services in Finland, Germany, Austria, and also in Belgium, Ireland, and the Netherlands. Opening the account is as simple as clicking “Open account” on the top of www.holvi.com.
Verification:
Verification at Holvi is a 3-step process and you as a customer can only use your account as soon as all three steps are completed. As a licensed payment institution, Holvi operates in a strictly regulated sector and is obliged to request certain information during the onboarding process in order to combat criminal activities.
The three steps are the following:
- Providing personal data and company information
- Identity verification
- Company verification and verification of business activities
Our verification team will then review all information you have provided. If all documents are in order and we have all information required according to our verification standards, you will get a notification by email, that your account is open.
Account Management
Holvi account has many functions. In this section, you will learn how to manage your personal and business settings, as well as how to invite and manage users and open new accounts.
Inviting Users to the Account
In Holvi there are different account roles, with different rights. You can view and manage account user rights by accessing the Manage Users menu in your account settings. Inviting new users is simple:
- First, choose the account you want to add users to from your home view in your Holvi -profile.
- Choose "account settings" from the bar on the left-hand side and from here "manage users". Add the email of the new account user in the opening "manage account users" view and press the "invite" button.

Personal Settings
Under "Personal Settings" you may manage your
- phone
- password (note that any passwords reset requires you to reverify your identity)
- language
- notifications
- and personal verification
Open New Account
By clicking Open New Account you may create yourself a new Holvi account. Please note that as you can register only once you still have the chance to create multiple Holvi accounts for different companies. The pricing is always business based - please check our pricing plans for more details.
In Holvi you can only open one account per company, but manage multiple accounts for different companies under one profile.
Closing Your User Profile and Accounts
Please note that only the current account creator has the right to close an account. As you can have several accounts under one Holvi profile, you can close some of the accounts and still keep your Holvi profile active, in case some of the accounts you manage remain active.
Accounts that have a balance other than 0,00 cannot be closed. Please transfer your remaining balance out and after this contact support@holvi.com in regards of closing the account, from the email you have registered in your Holvi profile. To avoid privacy breaches and for your own safety, we do not process requests coming from unregistered emails / phone numbers.

In Holvi you can only open one account per company, but open multiple accounts for different companies under one profile.
2. I don't have a company yet, can I open an account?
