All Holvi accounts in the UK will expire on the 31st of October 2020. Until that date, the accounts will continue to operate as normal. UK customers are asked to transfer any balances to an alternative bank account by that date.
What happens after my account has been closed?
You won’t be able to access your account anymore so please make sure that you download all reports and account statements before the 31st of October 2020 and also inform all of your payment partners about this change.
What happens with my card?
We will deactivate your card 16 days before we fully close your account. Your Holvi Business Mastercard will be disabled on the 15th of October 2020.
What happens if I receive a payment to my account after it has been closed?
Payments arriving after the 31st of October 2020 will automatically be returned to the sender. We recommend to find an alternative method to receive the payment.
I had a number of regular payments running via my Holvi account, what should I do?
Please inform your payment partners and provide them with your new bank account details as soon as you have switched your account. Recurring payments will not be executed after the 31st of October 2020.
Will you keep my data after the account is closed?
We are required to keep certain data even after an account has been closed to meet the legal requirements and retention period.
Do I need to send back my Holvi Card?
No, you do not need to return the card to us. We will electronically destroy your Holvi Business Mastercard when we close the account. You can dispose of the card after the 15th of October 2020.
I would still like to open an account, can I do so?
No, as we are not able to open any new accounts for companies based in the United Kingdom, you cannot open an account with us anymore.
Do I have to pay service fees for the remaining time?
We will charge service fees until your account is closed.
I want to close my account immediately.
You can terminate your account by submitting a request via our support form or by starting a chat in your Holvi account after you have logged in via your web browser. Please make sure that your account balance is £0, and download all the reports and account statements you may need.
Can you transfer my account via the Current Account Switch Guarantee?
Unfortunately, we will not be able to support you with the account switching. Please make sure that you inform all of your payment partners manually.
I just became a Holvi customer, why didn't you inform me earlier?
Our goal is to inform our customers about our decisions as early as possible. In this case, immediately after our decision to leave the UK market, we started to stop all customer acquisition activities and prepared the customer communications to minimise the impact on you. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused in a few cases and apologise for this.
How can I access my reports after my account is closed?
