Yes! You can use almost any card terminal, point of sale (POS) system or online payment provider with your Holvi account. Your provider just needs to pay out your sales to your Holvi IBAN by bank transfer, in euros or another supported currency.
How it works
Your payment provider collects card and wallet payments from your customers. It then sends the money to your Holvi account as a bank transfer, usually in batches (for example daily or weekly).
To work with Holvi, your provider must:
- Pay out by bank transfer to an IBAN from a country Holvi supports
- Pay out in euros (EUR) or another currency Holvi supports
- Accept a payout account in your name or your business's name
See our list of supported countries and currencies here.
Getting paid in other currencies?
If your provider pays out in USD, GBP, SEK or another supported currency, you can open a payment account in that currency and receive payouts as SWIFT payments without conversion fees. Make sure the payout currency matches the account.
Your main EUR account can also receive these currencies, but they're converted to euros and an exchange fee applies.
How often you get paid, and any fees, are set by your payment provider, not by Holvi.

- Log in to your payment provider's dashboard and open the payout or bank account settings.
- Enter your Holvi IBAN and the account holder name exactly as it appears in Holvi.
- Complete any checks your provider asks for. Some send a small test payment or ask for a bank statement, which you can download from Holvi.
Once it's set up, payouts arrive in your Holvi account like any other incoming transfer.
FAQ – Frequently asked questions
Does Holvi provide card terminals?
No. You sign up with a payment provider directly and connect it to your Holvi IBAN.
Do payouts cost extra?
Payouts are regular incoming transfers and may incur fees based on your plan’s monthly limit. Your payment provider may also charge fees. See our fee schedules for detailed information.
Can I match payouts to my sales?
Your provider's payout report shows which sales are in each payout. You can attach it to the transaction in Holvi for your bookkeeping.
