Holvi’s bookkeeping groups give you a better understanding of your business performance by filtering your bookkeeping categories into helpful groups.
When your categories are sorted into business and non-business groups, Holvi can dish out finance reports that are tidy and true – so you get the best possible business insights while staying ready for tax time.
Note that only business-related groups factor into your business reporting, but you can also download account statements and other reports to help you analyse all your account activity.
Think of groups as higher-level categories. Within each group, you can add new bookkeeping categories. For example, spending money on a software subscription? You can create a new category for Subscriptions within the Business expense group!

Can I add new bookkeeping groups?
Adding new groups isn’t possible. Groups are used to organise which transactions appear in your reports, so they stay fixed to ensure your reports remain accurate.
However, you can create new categories within those groups. Learn more here: How do I create new bookkeeping categories?
