SWIFT payments are international bank transfers used when the recipient is outside the SEPA area or within the SEPA area when the currency is not euro. They are the most common method for sending money globally in a safe and reliable way.

Processing time:
- Typically 0–5 banking days.
- Most SWIFT transfers arrive on the same business day – many within the hour. Exact timing depends on factors like bank cut-off times, intermediary banks, and the destination country. Please allow up to 5 business days in some cases.
Keep in mind
- Payments made to unsupported countries or in unsupported currencies will be automatically returned to the sender.
- Always double-check that both the destination country and currency are supported before sending.
- SWIFT transfers require a BIC/SWIFT code, and often also the recipient bank’s address details.
