How to set up an Acanta connection in Holvi
Want to set up an Acanta bank connection with Holvi? No problem. Now you can do it fully online. Just follow these simple steps and get connected at the click of a button.
Acanta
Already an Acanta customer? Make sure that your Holvi account number is available in the Acanta service.
1. Log in to Acanta: Head over to the Acanta login page https://app.acanta.fi/kirjaudu
2. Update company information: Once you’re in, select Settings (human icon) > Company Information
3. Enter company account information: Enter your Holvi account number. The account you select here is then used when you accept payments from Acanta. The account also appears on invoices sent from Acanta.

Holvi
Once the Acanta setup is complete, head back to Holvi. You’ll be able to set up a bank connection step-by-step:
- Sign in to Holvi: Log in to Holvi here https://login.app.holvi.com/ Find your profile in the right hand corner and select Plan & Billing. Change your plan to add a bank connection.
- Navigate to Connections: Find the Connections section in the menu.
- Choose Acanta: Select the Acanta bank connection.
- Follow a guided setup for your bank connection: Continue to customise your settings and sign the power of attorney online. You can also download the POA from Holvi if needed.
How to customise your connection
- Select the same IBANs you added in Acanta.
- Activate the payment initiation option from Holvi so you can initiate payments such as purchase invoices, salaries and travel invoices directly from Acanta. You can enable payments in Holvi's bank connections settings under Connections.
- The Holvi bank connection price is fixed, so there are no surprise fees later on. Feel free to have statements delivered daily. Delivery frequency can be changed anytime, the change comes in to effect the following month.
- You can sign the electronic power of attorney fully online within the Holvi web app. This is needed in order to grant Acanta Oy the rights to handle your company data.
- By default, statements will be delivered from Holvi to Acanta starting from today’s date. You may also choose a start date in the future or you can request delivery of historical statements (up to a maximum of 365 days in the past). We recommend consulting your accountant regarding how far back you need historical statements.
- Confirm the desired start date during the onboarding by selecting “Generate historical statements” and then the date.
