Can I transfer funds between my Holvi accounts instantly?
Yes! The funds that you transfer from one of your accounts account can be used immediately in your receiving account.
Will the transfers between own accounts be visible in my profit and loss statement?
No, transfers between own accounts are automatically categorised as "Other transfers", meaning they will not show up in many of the reports. In case you would like them to be included in the reports, just change the category of those transactions.
Do additional accounts work with my bookkeeping software?
Finland: Yes, additional accounts can be connected to bookkeeping software via a Bank Connection.
Activate the connection, select the accounts you want to connect and pay only one Bank Connection fee. No extra connection-related costs per connected account.
Germany: Yes, you can connect all accounts in Holvi with your accounting software - for example with DATEV, Lexware Office (formerly lexoffice) and many more. To do this, activate the Bank Connection and select the payment accounts you want to connect. You can find instructions for this in Connections .

The creator of the main account can also open additional accounts.

How do I open an additional account?
Opening a new account is easy!
From Quick Actions menu on the home screen > New payment account
From Accounts page > Add account
How many additional accounts can I have?
Check the fee schedule for more information on how many accounts are available for your subscription.
I opened an additional account, how can I order cards linked to the new account?
To order a new card for your additional payment account on mobile, log in to your Holvi account and go to Account settings > Cards > Order new. Here you will be able to choose whether you want a physical or virtual card, and select which payment account this is linked to.
Can I rename a new account?
Of course! You can edit the name at any time. Select the account you want to rename in the Accounts page, go to Manage accounts > Account details> Select the pen icon next to the account name to edit.
How do I close my additional account?
The same way main accounts are closed. Your balance must be zero and the creator of the account must be the one to close it.
Information for customers who already have old "sub-accounts"
If you are using the sub-accounts structure, you can continue with your current setup as is, and with the current pricing. No need to do anything. If you want to create new accounts, you can do that according to your plan - just like other customers. If you add more accounts than what is included in the pricing plan, then those will have a monthly fee.

Can I open an account for other currencies than EUR?
Currently only EUR payment accounts are available. There are plans to open accounts in other currencies in the future.
Service fees and pricing

How are service fees calculated?
The additional accounts will not change the way the service fees are charged. Any fees related to the new accounts will be included in your monthly service invoice and charged from the main account.
