What is an MMF?
Money market funds (MMFs) are generally a low-risk way to grow your business’s cash. MMFs invest your money in interest-bearing securities, such as overnight or term deposits with a typical maturity of less than a year. The interest paid on these loans generates the fund’s returns.
Who can invest?
This offer is for GmbH & UG companies in Germany, but excludes companies in the founding stage. It’s designed for businesses with simple, direct ownership (no complex structures) and up to three beneficial owners. The person who sets up the Holvi payment account will be the only one with trading rights for the money market fund and must be a managing director or authorised representative. The latter only via procuration disclosed in the commercial register. Individual power of representation is required in either case.
How do I start buying and selling?
On web, log into your Holvi account and head to Investments. Click on the fund name and then go to Place order in the top right hand corner. In the drop down you can select to buy or sell.
Which fund is my money held in?
Your money is invested in a money market fund managed by DWS Investment S.A., one of the largest asset managers in Europe.
Is there a minimum amount I can invest?
It takes just €20 to start earning yield on your spare cash. There is no cap on your investment.

What are the risks?
Money market funds are generally low risk, but not risk-free. Value losses are possible. The return is not guaranteed and can drop. Financial instruments in the fund can fail and cause losses.
How do I get my money out again?
Returns from the fund are distributed monthly to your business account. You can sell your shares at any time – payouts typically reach your account within 3 business days
