💡 A power of attorney (POA) is always required if the individual applying for account ownership does not have sole signing authority in the association or company’s official register extract.
To open a new Holvi account or become the new creator (main user) of an existing account, you must prove your right to sign for the company using official registration documents.
We’ll check the organisation’s registry extract and its signing rules as part of this process.

The power of attorney must include:The details of the new Holvi account owner.
The details of the person granting authorisation.
The organisation’s details.
Can the power of attorney be signed electronically?
Yes — digital signatures are accepted if completed using strong authentication, for example through Visma Sign.
How do I send the power of attorney to Holvi?
The current creator can upload the POA and other documents by logging in via browser at Holvi.com and going to:
Profile icon (top right corner) > My Businesses > Have your company details changed? > Add.
If this isn’t possible, the new creator can also send the documents directly to our customer support via email or Messaging.
Where can I get our registry extract?
In Finland, you can obtain the official registration extract from the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH).
