Who can use Apple Pay?

šŸ’” To use Apple Pay, start by updating the Holvi app! You'll need the latest version. Apple Pay is currently only available in Finland and Germany.

To use Apple Pay with Holvi, youā€™ll need:

  • A compatible device with the latest version of iOS or iPadOS, watchOS or macOS
    • iPhone 6 and later 
    • iPad Air 2 and later
    • iPad mini 3 and later
    • iPad Pro models
    • Mac with Touch ID
    • An Apple Watch paired with one of the above
  • Your Holvi credit or debit card
  • An Apple ID signed in to iCloud

The devices listed above feature Touch ID or Face ID and contain an NFC (near-field communication) controller where the ā€˜Secure Elementā€™ of Apple Pay is located. This masks your card details and keeps your customer information private from the seller.

Will Apple Pay be offered to other EU countries?

The short answer is yes. Now that weā€™ve built the functionality, weā€™re working on bringing Apple Pay to our wider customer base in other European countries.
