When you register your business as VAT-liable with Holvi, we’ll system automatically calculate Value Added Tax (VAT) on all your transactions, covering both sales income and purchase expenses, with no manual effort needed.
Holvi offers clear VAT categories to give you a transparent overview of your VAT status, helping you understand your obligations and entitlements at any time.
-
VAT on sales (VAT payable)
The total VAT charged on your sales, representing what you owe to tax authorities.
-
VAT on purchases (VAT receivable)
VAT paid on business purchases, helping you track amounts you can reclaim or deduct.
-
VAT to be reclaimed
VAT you can reclaim, reflecting the difference between VAT paid on purchases and owed on sales.
Note
Holvi’s bookkeeping is cash-based, so only completed and settled transactions appear in VAT categories. Pending transactions show only after payment.
