From 1 September 2024, the general VAT rate in Finland was increased from 24% to 25.5%. The new rate applies to goods and services that were previously subject to the 24% VAT rate.
The 24% rate will still be available in Holvi for the time being.
How does this appear in Holvi?
VAT in reports
General reports, such as VAT reports and invoicing reports, now use 25.5% as the VAT rate and category.
Partner-specific reports (Netvisor, Procountor, Fivaldi) are formatted as agreed with each partner.
VAT in the accounting API
With Holvi’s Accounting API, the update will allow the VAT field (“VAT_percentage”: “0.00"), which currently lists, for example, “24.00”, to also accept “25.50” as a value.
