1. What documents do I need to verify my business?
Please check the required documents for verifying your business here. You can upload these to your Holvi account for our verification team to check.
2. How long does it take to verify my business?
Your Holvi business account can only be verified once you've provided us with all the documents necessary to identify your business. Once we have checked your documents, we'll contact you by email. If all documents are in order and we have all information needed according to our verification standards, we'll send you an email to let you know your account is open.
If we're unable to verify your company and open an account based on the information we receive, we'll ask you for more information about your company by email. Please check your inbox!
We'll check the documents in the order in which they arrive and contact you as soon as possible. Please note that we operate on weekdays (excluding weekends and national holidays).
Founder accounts: We'll contact you once the verification has been completed successfully and your IBAN for transferring the share capital has been activated. More information regarding founder accounts can be found here.
3. I haven't received my VAT ID yet
No problem! We can add your VAT ID as soon as you receive it. In this case, just leave the field for VAT liability empty when you create an account. You can reach out to our support team at email@example.com to add your VAT ID once you get it.
4. My company is partially owned by another company.
Unfortunately, we do not support ownership structures that involve one or more legal entities with more than 25% shares / investments, so in this case we won't be able to offer you an account.
5. One of our shareholders lives abroad
It's possible to open an account for your company if you, as the account creator, live in the same country where your business is registered. If beneficial owners who own more than 25% of shares live outside of the EEA or the UK, unfortunately we won't be able to offer an account.
6. Can I open an account with my holding company?
Unfortunately, we do not support the opening of an account for Holding companies.
7. We are a GbR, can we open an account?
No, we do not offer business accounts for GbRs.
8. My documents are too large to upload.
Please resize the documents and upload them to your account. The max file size is 5MB. For data security and safety reasons, we can't process documents sent to us via email.
9. There are only two upload fields, but I have lots of documents!
Please click on Submit again to upload more documents. This will not replace the previous documents you've uploaded. Everything will be saved.
10. How can I check my verification status?
You can check your verification status by clicking on your profile icon in the top right of your Holvi account, then choose My businesses. Here you can see a list of all businesses you have registered with Holvi. You'll see the verification status of each business here.
By clicking on the business name, you get to an upload page where submit additional documents. You can also submit documents here, in case your business information has changed.
