Discounts in Holvi online stores are always item-based. At the moment, it’s not possible to add discounts to your customer’s entire shopping bag - however, the same discount code can apply to multiple selected items.
How to create a discount
- Log in at Holvi.com
- Go to Online store > Discounts.
- Click New discount.
- Add your discount details and conditions.
- Select which products the discount applies to.
- Click Save.
Available settings for discounts:
- Type of discount – Percentage off, Fixed amount off, or Final item price
- Minimum purchase amount (optional)
- Number of uses (optional)
Creating your discount code
Discount codes typically use capital letters for readability along with a number that reflects the amount of the discount.
Example discount code: HELLO15
Each code can create only one discount – for example, you can’t create multiple “HELLO15” discounts.
Managing existing discounts
At any time, you can go to Online store > Discounts to view and manage your discounts. Click on a discount to view its details. You can change any details, add or remove items, or delete the discount altogether.
If you want to deactivate a discount without deleting it, simply set Number of uses to zero for the time being.
