Holvi helps you manage all your business finances in one place and prepare for tax time, but it won’t necessarily replace your accountant or tax advisor.
We know that everyone has different ways of preparing and submitting taxes – from fully DIY taxes, to accounting software integrations, to using an accountant or tax advisor. We built Holvi to work with and simplify all solutions.
If you have an accountant or tax advisor
Speak with your accountant or tax advisor about whether Holvi is a good fit for you. Here are a few key points to bring up:
1. Invite your accountant
You can invite your accountant or tax advisor to Holvi for free, and control what they have access to. This allows them to guide you through Holvi and set your business up for success. Later on, they can log in and bookkeeping data – such as receipts or reports – as needed. Read more about how to invite users.
2. Team up to create categories
Holvi bookkeeping works by using income and expense categories. It’s a good idea to create these categories together with your accountant or tax advisor so that you categorise incoming and outgoing transactions correctly from the start. Holvi builds your financial reports using these categories. Learn more here.
3. Or export reports via Dropbox
Another possibility is to export reports and all other bookkeeping data directly to Dropbox from your Holvi account. Your accountant can then access your information easily and securely.
