Need to include cash payments or transactions from another bank in your Holvi bookkeeping? You can easily add these 'non-Holvi' or 'external' transactions to get a complete overview of your business finances, all in one place.
💡 Important
Adding an external transaction is for bookkeeping purposes only. It helps you maintain a complete financial record but will not affect your Holvi account balance. These transactions also cannot be matched with invoices.
How to add an external transaction
Follow these simple steps to add a transaction that occurred outside of your Holvi account.
📱 In the mobile app:
- Log into your Holvi app
- From the Home screen, scroll down to the Bookkeeping section.
- Tap Add non-Holvi transaction and fill in the details.
💻 On a web browser:
- Log into Holvi.com
- From the lefthand menu, click Bookkeeping > Add non-Holvi transaction
- Fill in the details of the transaction and save.
How to view your external transactions
Once added, here’s how you can view a list of all your recorded non-Holvi transactions.
📱 In the mobile app:
- Log into your Holvi app
- Tap the Accounts tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the filter icon (a circle with two horizontal lines) in the top left corner
- Under the Bookkeeping heading, select Added transactions and confirm
💻 On a web browser:
- Log into Holvi.com
- From the lefthand menu, go to Accounts > Main
- In the menu below your account name and IBAN, click More
- Select Non-Holvi transactions from the dropdown list
