Your Holvi Business Credit Card provides financial flexibility for your business. To get the most out of it, it's important to understand how your credit line works. This guide will walk you through the key concepts.
What is a credit line?
A credit line (also known as a credit limit) is a fixed amount of money you can borrow and spend using your Holvi Credit Card. Holvi currently offers credit lines between €1,000 and €50,000.
When you apply for a Holvi Credit Card, we perform a standard credit check and an individual assessment to offer a personalised credit line that fits your business's financial situation.
How does my credit limit work?
Your credit limit is the maximum amount you can spend using your Holvi Credit Card. For example:
- If your credit line is €3,000, you can spend up to €3,000 at any time.
- If you spend €100, your available credit becomes €2,900.
- Once you repay the €100, your available credit goes back to €3,000.
Your credit replenishes automatically as soon as you repay any outstanding balance.
Where can I find my credit limit?
You can check your credit limit at any time in the Holvi app or on Holvi.com.

The mobile app is the quickest way to see your up-to-date credit status.
- Log in to the Holvi app.
- On the Home screen, you'll see the 'My credit balance' section.
- This section shows your total credit limit, how much you've spent, and your remaining available credit. It looks like this:

- Log in to your account at Holvi.com.
- Navigate to the 'Credit cards' section.
- Here you will find all the details regarding your credit limit and current balance.
How often is my credit card balance updated?
With each credit card transaction, your account updates in real time. Your balance in the My credit balance section of the Holvi app shows how much of your credit line is available to spend at any time. It consists of:
- Payments made
- Reserved payments*
- Refunds
- Repayments
*A reserved payment happens when the seller puts a transaction amount on hold but the money hasn’t yet been withdrawn from your account.

You can request a credit limit increase by contacting our Support team.
