How to create a shipping option
Log in at Holvi.com and go to Online store > Settings. Scroll to the Shipping section and click Add a shipping option.
For each shipping option you set up, set the following:
- Shipping area
- Domestic
- EU-wide
- Worldwide
- Price
- Income category
International sales
If you allow EU or worldwide sales, make sure to report VAT accordingly.

How to assign shipping options to items
Once youāve created your shipping options, you can assign them to items.
To do this, create a new item or edit an existing one. Check Apply shipping fees.Ā
Note that the same shipping fees apply regardless of the quantity of items sold.
Adding a shipping fee?
When adding shipping options to items, make sure to add all options available. If you add a shipping fee for one area (e.g. domestic) but not another (e.g. international), customers located internationally will not be able to order this item.

How to ship large or heavy items ā Holvi workaround
If you need custom shipping fees for a heavier object, you can create a new store item ā for example āoversize shippingā. Then instruct your customers to buy this item in addition to the item that needs shipping.

How shipping fees apply at checkout
Shipping fees automatically apply in your customerās shopping bag when they:
- Select an item that needs shipping
- Provide their destination address (country)
