Just follow the instructions below, depending on what information you need to update.
How to update your company name in Holvi
Note: A request to change the company name can only be made by the creator (main user).
1: Submit an updated trade register extract
Upload a trade register extract to your Holvi account that shows the company's new name. The document must be no older than 6 months.
Log in via your web browser, then select the profile icon (top right corner) > My Company > Have your company details changed? > Upload. If necessary, you can also send the document directly to customer support.
2: Contact customer support (Important)
Contact our support team to request the official name change. Processing usually takes a few business days.
Please note: We cannot process the request until you’ve contacted us.
How to update your first, middle or last name in Holvi

1: Inform us of the change
Please contact our support team and let us know your name has changed — we’ll provide you with a secure link to upload your document.

2: Upload your document
🇫🇮 If your company is in Finland:

Document needed: Please provide a copy of one of the following:
- Your name change confirmation from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency (DVV).
- Your updated passport or national ID card showing your new name.
🇩🇪🇦🇹 If your company is in Germany or Austria:

Document needed: Please provide a copy of your official name change document, such as:
- Marriage certificate
- Divorce certificate
- Official name change certificate
3: Confirmation and final verification
Once our team receives and reviews your document, we’ll update your name in our system and notify you. After you receive our confirmation, you will be prompted to complete verification the next time you log into Holvi.
🇫🇮 Finland:
- Make sure your new name has already been updated with your personal bank or mobile certificate provider, as you'll need this for strong authentication to succeed.
🇩🇪 Germany / 🇦🇹 Austria:
- Please have your updated passport or ID card ready, as you’ll need to complete the verification using an official ID that shows your new name.
