Virtual cards
Your virtual card is ready for use the moment you create it. All details are stored securely within the Holvi mobile app. (See also: How do I order a virtual card?)
By tapping on the card on your home screen, or going to the 'My Cards' section of the app, you can instantly find your:
- Card number
- Expiration date
- CVC/CVV code
Key features:
- No PIN required: For enhanced security, you'll approve online payments directly through a confirmation in your Holvi app instead of using a PIN.
- Ready for payments: Use these details for online shopping, in-app purchases, or add your card to Apple Pay or Google Pay for in-store payments.
Physical cards
Your physical card will arrive by mail. Before using it, you’ll need to activate it in your Holvi account once it’s arrived.
- Card Number & CVC: Printed directly on the card (16-digit number + 3-digit CVC).
💡 Tip: Need to pay right away? You can create and use a virtual card while you wait for your physical card to be delivered.
Finding or changing your PIN
For your security, your PIN is never sent to you in the mail. You can view or change it anytime in your Holvi account.
📱 In the Holvi app:
- Open the app and tap Cards.
- Select the physical card you want to manage.
- Tap Show PIN to view your current PIN.
💻 On your browser:
- Log in to your account at Holvi.com.
- Navigate to Cards from the main menu.
- Select your card and open the Options dropdown.
- Choose Show PIN or Change PIN.
