At Holvi, we use AI to make everyday work easier for self-employed people and small businesses. Our goal is simple: AI should support people, not replace them.
We already use AI in a few focused areas, for example in transaction categorisation or fraud monitoring. These systems help us work smarter and protect our customers, but they don’t make decisions on their own. People stay in control.
Because AI is a fast-moving field, we treat responsibility as an ongoing task. When we build or introduce AI-powered features, we:
1. Keep humans in charge: AI helps us work faster, spot issues and support decision-making. But a human always stays in the loop. If something looks unclear or needs judgment, we review it manually.
2. Use AI carefully and with clear purpose: We only use AI where it adds real value, for example by improving safety, reducing fraud or simplifying manual work. We don’t use AI to make final decisions about customers without human oversight.
3. Respect privacy and data protection: Data protection is part of everything we build. We use data only when necessary, follow strict privacy rules and protect personal data with technical safeguards. We never use customer data to train external AI models.
4. Avoid unfair outcomes: We monitor our systems to make sure results stay fair and reasonable. If something looks off, we adjust, improve or roll back. We aim to avoid bias and unintended consequences.
5. Stay transparent: We want our customers and partners to understand when and how AI is involved. We explain the purpose of our AI features in plain language.
6. Keep improving: AI evolves quickly, and so do we. We regularly review our approach, learn from our internal work, and stay aligned with relevant regulations. Our aim is to grow our AI use responsibly as the company grows.
In short: Holvi uses AI to support people and make everyday financial tasks easier and not to replace human judgment. We build things step by step, with care, clarity and respect for our customers.
