We understand it can be frustrating when your account is restricted. This guide provides a clear, step-by-step process to settle your overdue service fees and regain full access.
Let's get you back up and running.
Step-by-step guide to reactivating your account
Follow these simple steps to unlock your Holvi account.
Step 1: Find out what you owe
- Log in at Holvi.com.
- Click your profile icon (top right).
- Go to Plan & billing to view unpaid service fee invoices.
💡 Tip: Can’t access your invoices? Check your transaction history to compare past service fee charges.
Step 2: Settle the outstanding balance
⭐️ Option A: Top up your Holvi account (recommended)
- Transfer funds to your main account via standard bank transfer or Instant Top-up.
- Once the funds arrive, Holvi will automatically deduct the overdue amount within 24–48 hours.
- No further action is needed.
Option B: Pay the invoice manually
- Use the IBAN and reference number from your invoice (see Step 1).
- Make the payment from another bank account.
- Important: Make sure to enter the correct reference number — this ensures your payment is properly matched.
Step 3: Wait for reactivation
Once your payment is processed, your account will be automatically reactivated.
- Timeline: Reactivation typically takes 1 business day after your payment has been successfully processed.
⚠️ Please note:
The reactivation process is fully automated and cannot be expedited by our support team. We appreciate your patience while the system processes your payment and unlocks your account.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does reactivation take?
Reactivation is automatic and typically takes up to 1 business day after your payment has been successfully processed by our system.
Can I speed up the reactivation?
No. The reactivation process is fully automated to ensure security and accuracy and cannot be manually accelerated, even by our support team.
Why was my account restricted in the first place?
Accounts are restricted when the automatic monthly deduction for service fees fails due to insufficient funds, and the balance isn't settled after we've sent payment reminders.
What can I still do with a restricted account?
While your account is restricted, you can still receive incoming payments. However, you cannot send money, make card payments, or use most other account features.
How to avoid future restrictions
- Maintain a sufficient balance: Ensure your main Holvi account has enough funds to cover the monthly service fee, which is charged on the 1st of each month.
- Enable notifications: Turn on push notifications in the Holvi app to stay informed about successful or failed payments.
Overdue fees more than 2 years old?
If your overdue service fee invoices are more than 24 months old, the automatic deduction will no longer apply.
➡️ In this case, please contact our support team to manually initiate the payment process.
Need help?
If your account remains restricted more than 2 business days after paying, or if you need assistance, contact Holvi Support. Note: Please refrain from contacting our support team to request faster reactivation — though we’d love to help, we’re unfortunately not able to manually speed up the process. Please sit tight while your account is manually reactivated.
