Keeping your business details up to date is essential for a secure and fully functional account. If your business has moved, follow this guide to update your address in Holvi.
Before you start
- Access requirements: Only the creator can change company details.
- Proof of address required: After updating your address in your profile, you’ll need to upload a document to verify the new location.

Can I use a P.O. Box as my company address?
Yes, we can accept a P.O. Box as your company’s registered address in our core markets and for all company forms, provided the business meets our internal compliance criteria.Important restrictions: A P.O. Box is never accepted as the personal address for any natural person associated with the business (Creator, Admin, or UBOs).
Documentation needed
- Individuals: All UBOs, Creators, and Admins must provide proof of their physical residential address.
- New customers: Sole Traders/Freelancers must provide proof of their physical operating address.
- Existing customers: The account must have a clean compliance history.
Step 1: Update your address in Holvi
First, update the address information stored in your Holvi account.
- Log in at Holvi.com.
- Click the profile icon in the top right corner.
- Select My businesses from the dropdown menu.
- If you have multiple businesses, choose the one you need to update.
- Under the Business address section, click Edit.
- Enter your new, full physical address and click Save.
Step 2: Upload your proof of address
To finalise the change, in most cases you’ll need to upload proof of your new address within 30 days. The required documents depend on your country and business type.
If your business is registered in Germany 🇩🇪 or Austria 🇦🇹
• Freelancers: No documentation is required. Your address will be updated instantly.
• Companies and associations: Please upload an updated registry extract to verify your new address.
If your business is registered in Finland 🇫🇮
1. First, update your address with YTJ. Your business address in Holvi must match the official record in the Finnish Business Information System (YTJ).

2. Next, upload one of the following documents to Holvi:
• An updated registry extract (kaupparekisteriote), or
• A clear screenshot from the YTJ service showing your new address.
