My business details have changed, what do I do?

The account creator (main user) can manage company details by logging in via a web browser and navigating to Profile icon (top right corner) > My business.

Company address
  1. Update the address in YTJ (Finnish Business Information System).
  2. Change the address in Holvi on the My business page.
  3. Submit a recent trade register extract (max. 6 months old) or a screenshot from the YTJ service showing the changes.

  1. Upload an updated trade register extract via the My business page.
  2. Contact us to report the change, and we’ll update the name in our system.

🔗 How do I update my own name or my company’s name?
VAT ID

On the My business page, click VAT Liability > Edit > Liable > input your VAT ID.

Company type

When your company type changes, (e.g. from sole trader to limited company) you must open a completely new account. You can easily open a new account via your existing user profile.

Company type

If your company type has changed from UG to GmbH or the other way around, go to My Business and upload your new registry extract (no older than 6 months) and a shareholder agreement that reflects the changes.

The company form of a freelancer can't be changed.
