Your Austrian IBAN is in your Holvi account from 1 December 2026. Your Finnish IBAN will keep receiving payments and direct debits until 28 February 2027 and will stop working on 1 March 2027. Use this list to update everyone before then.
Everyone who pays you
- Your customers. Send them your new IBAN, for example, with your next invoice.
- Your invoices and documents. Invoice templates, quotes, contracts, your website and your email signature: anywhere your IBAN appears.
- Payment providers and platforms that pay out to you. For example Stripe, PayPal, SumUp or Klarna, and any marketplace or booking platform.
- Finanzamt. Update your account details in FinanzOnline so tax refunds reach your new IBAN.
- Funding bodies. If you receive grants or subsidies, for example, from aws, FFG or AMS - send them your new IBAN.
- Anyone else who transfers money to you, including transfers from your own accounts elsewhere.
Everyone who collects from you by direct debit
Every direct debit you set up before 1 December runs on your Finnish IBAN. The easiest way to find them all is to look through your direct debits from the last few months.
- Finanzamt - if you pay tax by direct debit
- SVS - for your social insurance contributions
- ÖGK - if you employ staff
- WKO- for your chamber contributions
- Your landlord - for office or premises rent
- Insurers
- Leasing companies - for vehicles or equipment
- Energy, phone and internet providers
- Subscriptions and software that collect by direct debit
Your own setup
- Your accountant or Steuerberater, so your bookkeeping recognises the new IBAN
- Your payroll provider - if they run salaries or collect fees from your account
What you don’t need to update
- Your cards. They’re linked to your account, not your IBAN.
- Standing orders and scheduled payments in Holvi. They go out from your new IBAN automatically.
