It’s important to ensure your team members have the right level of access to perform their tasks. This article will guide you through how to change user roles and remove users from your account.
Only the creator can manage users.
Changing editors to admins
Before you can upgrade someone to an admin, they’ll need to verify their identity.
To upgrade editors to admins, go to Settings > Users. From there, you can easily change their user role to grant them more access.
Note for German customers
If your business is based in Germany, all editors will need to enter their personal tax ID (Steuer-ID) in their personal settings before you can change the role to admin.
Changing admins to editors
To downgrade admins to editors, go to Account settings > Manage users. From there, you can easily change their user role to grant them less access. If the user has a Holvi Business Mastercard® or Holvi Business Credit Card, please contact us to cancel their card.

Deleting users
To remove someone’s access to your account, go to Settings > Users. Select the user and remove them from your account. They will lose access immediately.
Cardholders
Cardholders cannot be upgraded to another role at this time. If you wish to upgrade a cardholder, you’ll need to re-invite them to the account.
